Music & Dance Camps

It’s not about “being the best.”

It’s about sharing the joy!

When you first heard traditional acoustic music or saw traditional dance, did a magical sensation or intangible feeling spark something in you? Let’s develop the skills for you to re-create that —in your own unique way— and inspire new people the way you were first inspired.

Join us on site at the Ashokan Center in spring & summer 2022 to sing, dance, jam with new friends, and leave the cares of the world behind. Our Music & Dance Camps are held outdoors in a beautiful natural setting, with flexible pricing that includes camping and meals. On-site bunks and private rooms will also be available. All classes will be held in open air, with indoor and outdoor seating for meals.

Save the Dates! Registration coming in early 2022!

Your temperature will be checked upon arrival. Anyone with symptoms or recent exposure SHOULD NOT ATTEND and will receive a full refund upon request.

All staff and guests are required to wear masks while indoors, except when eating or performing.

We require all staff and campers to tighten their exposure circle in the days before camp and mask whenever near others to limit the chance of exposure.

This policy is in line with current local and NY State guidelines and subject to revision based on changes in those guidelines.
